“Being Trauma Aware: Making a difference in the lives of children and youth” is now available for free online. As part of the CCAC’s efforts to recognize and prevent child abuse across the province, this first-of-its-kind online trauma-informed training program provides foundational knowledge essential to those working directly with children and youth, including social workers, teachers, police officers, doctors, sport coaches, etc.

“Being Trauma Aware” is a two-and-a-half-hour online program to teach practitioners how to provide improved support for those impacted by violence and abuse, ultimately creating a common language for all.
