The Social Inclusion Series will involve a variety of community events to raise awareness about the importance of mental health, reduce stigma, and promote existing wellness-focused services. Activities will include a mental health education campaign using resource cards and banners designed by local artists, monthly community events, and a community-wide art project to create a mural.

Resource Cards – we were able to compile an in-depth list of contact info for many social agencies that are local to our area. Being from a small town, we often just get lists of supports from Calgary and a lot of people do not realize that we have supports and resources that are specific to our area. We have been able to build relationships with many other local groups with our video series. The value this has brought to our community is both contributing to partnerships among diverse groups as well as helping these groups and the residence recognize how their programs are impacting the community’s overall health and wellbeing.
