Wainwright will host a Pancake Breakfast and Movie Event that will promote local resources and create awareness about social and intellectual wellness. The underlying goal of this event will be to support community members in exploring the interconnectedness of the 8 Domains for the individual, family, and workplace. Local mental health and wellness supports will attend the event providing games, information and conversation during the breakfast and following the movie. 

Wainwright wants to be more intentional about welcoming newcomers to their community as many have reported feeling isolated when moving to a new community, especially a rural community. They will work with their IMPACT Wainwright partners, including Adult Learning, the Library, Healthy Families, Family Resource Network and FCSS to encourage their newcomer families to attend the event. By offering interactive games with a mental health focus at each table, they aim to connect newcomers with local families, while also providing them with information about local services and supports.
