New Dawn Metis Women’s Society have 5 animators from 5 different communities; Dewberry, Cold Lake, Marwayne, Lloydminster, and Bonnyville, that are working together to strengthen community cohesion and engagement throughout Region 2 through the Rural Mental Health Project. By building on their first-year grant, the Animators are creating programming that brings together their regional community focusing on intergenerational sharing of knowledge, cultural awareness, and developing a lasting relationship.
