The Flagstaff Friendly Neighbours Program, with community partners, involve volunteers from throughout the county and region visiting those that are isolated, lonely, without connection, to build relationships and improve mental wellness outcomes. Volunteers deliver food bank orders, groceries and may complete grass cutting and other chores. Local citizens apply to the program through self-referral, agency referral, community referral with the assistance of the local Seniors Choices program.
