The aim of Stettler’s project is to reconnect our community while reducing the stigma and raising awareness regarding mental health and wellness. They are achieving this by developing accessible learning opportunities for community members including Mental Health First Aid; Talk, Ask, Listen; Community Helpers; and Tough enough to Talk About it. Community fun days, mental health movies, community libraries, and block party kits will provide community reconnection through activities held in Stettler and surrounding hamlets. Engaging the community and offering inclusive learning/training opportunities, facilitating events, and supporting healthy connections offers a sense of belonging to the community of Stettler.
