New Dawn Metis Women’s Society have 5 animators from 5 different communities; Dewberry, Cold Lake, Marwayne, Lloydminster, and Bonnyville, that are working together to strengthen community cohesion and engagement throughout Region 2 through the Rural Mental Health Project.

This project will continue on the funding from last year. This year will include more opportunities Metis women to connect and share knowledge and celebrate their culture while providing a sense of community. This will involve teachings and other events to connect.
