The Building a Community of Wellness project focuses on sharing all the data collected through the Youth Safer Communities Survey Project and Youth and Adult Focus Groups Project with our community with the goal of creating real effective change for mental health and wellness.
The reports will be presented to local municipalities, school boards, social service agencies and the community while recommendations being to be implemented. This project focuses on the community recommendation of mentorship: providing training and support to adults, so they have the skills and knowledge to support youth through times of struggle, encourage through times of transition, and help youth develop healthy coping skills and resilience.
