During the COVID-19 pandemic, the programming for youth in Whitecourt was drastically reduced and the impacts of that are being seen throughout the community. Their project includes a kit for youth to complete a 21 Day Kindness Challenge. Included are are challenges to complete as well as cards with suggestions for random acts of kindness. This project offers youth an opportunity to participate in the community, rebuild social connections that have weakened over the pandemic, and instill hope in those both giving and receiving the act of kindness.
